Chris,

D&D has successfully repaired many Buick clusters in the past. However, we do not know the interchangeability of Buick clusters from one vehicle to another. It may require reprogramming by a licensed dealership. Please contact your local Buick/GMC dealer for information on swapping clusters and programming requirements.

Thanks,
Steve...

my temp gauge is showing pegged hot but the vehicle is not hot. I've been told that there this is a common issue with the cluster. Do you repair them? I have a salvaged one and I think they scammed me with the same problem. Mitsubishi says there is a modle on the back of the cluster that is possibly the cause. ...

I was wandering if I could get some answers here. I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 LS Z71 with about 90,000 miles. Recently, I've noticed that my tachometer seems to get stuck when I drive long distances. When I turn the truck off, the needle only falls to about 1000-1500 RPM, so when I get in the next time to drive it will go all the way up to 3000 RPM's. There is no difference in my engine reving up but I just know that something is wrong and needs to be fixed. If anyone has any tips, that would be grea...

Dave,

The temp gauge is just the first of your gauges that will be going bad. That cluster was manufactured with faulty stepper motors. A replacement cluster would have the same faulty motors and would require reprogramming.

Part of our $199 repair/return service includes replacing all of the stepper motors with upgraded x-series motors.

There is no reprogramming necessary and your mileage will automatically update.

I am looking for some answers, hoping you guys can help out. My '03 Sierra has 88,000 wonderful miles on it, only problem I have ever had was the CD player went bad. Then, just last week my temp. gauge went nuts. It started reading higher and higher until finally it is pointing straight down. Called the stealership, they are talking $600 just for parts to replace the entire gauge cluster, they say you can't replace just the one bad gauge, you have to waste alot of money buying the whole cluster. Not gonna d...
