Some customers have called us with cluster light issues. The gauges are functioning but the background lights don't work. The problem is not with the cluster. Over time, heat and vibration can cause the power terminal in the centerboard connector to go bad.

Use a volt-meter to test the power and ground terminals in the green connector shown here:


The power for the lights comes from the terminal shown here:
