EXPELLO Drain Valves

The Expello Pneumatic Drain Valve provides long lasting, durable air system protection.  This drain valve expels build-up of harmful contaminants in air tanks on trucks, trailers, buses, RV's and other equipment with compressed air systems.  This drain valve expels contaminants from your air tanks with a powerful blast of air whenever your compressor reaches cut out and at compressor cut in.  The 50 watt heater with built in thermostat provides year round protection even in the coldest conditions.

The Expello Electronic Drain Valve provides increased durability and reliability for constant protection from build-up of harmful contaminants in air tanks on trucks, trailers, buses, RV's and other vehicles.  This drain valve expels contaminants every five minutes of operation with a powerful one-second blast of air.  The electronic controls and 50 watt heater provide year round protection.  The corrosion resistant construction ensures maintenance-free operation over the long haul.  Once installed in place of the manual drain petcock on the tank, the valve's straight through contaminant flow and self-cleaning design provide air tank draining without daily checks.

STARK Air Dryers

The Stark Air Dryer system helps prevent brake line freeze-ups, clogging, deterioration and corrosion in an air brake system.  It removes oil, carbon, dirt, sludge, and gets the water out!  These air dryers are both a filtering and coalescing system.  They remove 100% of solids larger than 1 micron in size and 99.9% of all compressor "blow by" oil.  Moisture is also removed by the filter/coalescer.  These units provide clean dry air 100% of the time.

The Expello Drain Valve located on the bottom of the unit purges any remaining moisture from the system.  You have the option of selecting these air dryers fitted with either the pneumatic or electronic valve as described in our drain valve section above.

ShopAir Line Filters

Many people believe the solution to obtain clean, dry, oil free air is to place a drying device at the shop compressor.  This is not a total solution to the contamination problem.  Refrigeration units and twin tower dessicant systems used in this solution can cost upwards of $5,000.00 and they do not deliver complete results.  One large device will usually service a number of tool locations.  Air travelling downstream from these devices can pick-up moisture from condensation, pipe scale, rust and other system contamination ending up in the tool.

The inexpensive, ultra high efficiency ShopAir Air Filter/Coalescer is a small, lightweight unit that can be conveniently and effectively located near the air using device, removing contaminates at the end of the line.
