SETTING DIP SWITCHES

This remanufactured cluster has “dip switches” that are not set to their proper settings. These switches will need to be set to an existing line card, which will allow the cluster to work properly. 

   

This line card can be found:
  1. On the top of your original cluster
  2. On the firewall under the steering column
  3. On the kick panel next to the driver’s feet
  4. Under the hood of the vehicle.
If the line card is missing or illegible, you can obtain this line card setting by calling your local Navistar dealer with the VIN #. Failure to set your “dip switches” to the line card will cause your cluster to malfunction and work improperly.
